The Telegraph interviewed David Pugh, the producer for Equus. In the article, he mentioned how he had been wanting to do a production of Equus for eight years but the problem has always been finding the right boy. But when Daniel agreed to a private performance for the playwright, they "couldn't take their eyes off him".
